Dr. Nicholas Byrne
About Me
Dr. Byrne received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He received his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of California at San Francisco. He went on to complete a fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of California at San Francisco. He is board certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology.
Dr. Byrne joined Contra Costa Pathology Associates in 2007, and is a staff pathologist at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek campus. In addition to his work in general anatomic and clinical pathology, he provides oversight of clinical laboratory services, with a focus in microbiology.
